[digiscrap: New Layouts and a Night Out]

I got this hilarious phone call from my niece, asking if we could go out for the night so she and our cousin's daughter could come watch our boys. Um. YES!! So - we quickly planned for a dinner out and met up with our friends (who are staying with us) and headed to White Rock.

We got some yummy ice cream, killed ourselves laughing ... then came home and trash talked all the participants of Big Brother *grin*. Seriously - that place has GOT to be the most stressful place to live ...
I completely forgot my camera (what the HECK??) but our friends brought their cam and took a few memorable pics ... SO fun!

I haven't done digiscrapping as of late ... who has the time??? Not me - but here are some of the layouts I did prior to the craziness of my life right now ... And now, I'm off to the ortho ...

Tonight: the cake. WHOO HOO!!

Hey girl ... GREAT layouts! One of these days I am gonna a move into PSE for scrapping. You can do some incredible stuff. BTW, where did you get the "product" for your rape thief layout? LOVE IT! You amaze me.
PS And the shoes you wore that date night? I want to know what completed that great outfit!

The product for "Grape Thief" (um - not rape thief *GRIN*)was a freebie from Little Dreamers a while back .. it was just the paper and I tried to embellish it on my own with different brushes and my own doodles. I have a Bamboo that lets me write on a tablet and it goes directly onto the PSE. Very cool - don't use it much but certainly did for THAT layout. And hey -thanks for the encouragement *grin* ... so nice to hear that you like what I do!! ... The shoes?? *laughing*. They were black Guess sandles ... pretty much my favourite pair of shoes.

Wow! These lay-outs are amazing! I never knew you could digi scrap! What program do you use? How do you use it? (I'm a newbie and would love to know!)

Hi Carlene ...

YES - Digiscrapping is a new way to scrap your memories while having no mess *grin* ... I use Photoshop Elements 6.0. and have taught classes on the program to those who have been interested ...

Wow. Seriously. You have opened my eyes! I did some research and followed the links you have on your blog and I am SO excited! *giggle*

I downloaded PSE (for Mac) and I'm well on my way via reading tutorials etc (I'm just using freebie kits until I get the feel for it). I must say, I am in LOVE with this new hobby! You're so talented.. I don't think I'll ever be as good as you, but maybe! I'm going to look into classes (I'm from Calgary), and probably drag a few friends along.

Thanks for the inspiration! :)
